Welcome to VideoPolished (the "Service"), operated by VideoPolished ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Acceptable Use

• You must have the legal right to upload, modify, and process any video you submit.
• Do not use the Service to infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overwhelm the Service infrastructure.
• Automated access (bots, scrapers) is not permitted without prior written consent.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of your videos and any content you upload. You grant us a limited, temporary license solely to process your content and deliver the Service. We do not claim any rights to your content beyond what is needed for processing.

Accounts and Billing

• Some features require creating an account via our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Usage is measured in processing minutes. Unused minutes do not roll over.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Data Retention

• Uploaded videos and processing results are stored on Cloudflare R2 for up to 30 days after processing, then automatically deleted.
• You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
• Account data (email, usage history) is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party APIs for processing. See our Vendor Disclosure for details on which providers handle your data and how.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee processing accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
